Chalmers University of Technology and University of Gothenburg Celebrate 20 Years of Research Cooperation with Rwanda

Chalmers University of Technology, the University of Gothenburg, and their common initiative Global Sustainable Futures are proud to participate in celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Research Cooperation between Sweden and Rwanda through the University of Rwanda - Sweden program.

The three-day programme, which will take place from 22-24 March in Kigali, will be centered around the theme “Research cooperation for socioeconomic transformation”. The event aims to highlight the significant impact of the research cooperation between Sweden and Rwanda over the last two decades.

The University of Rwanda - Sweden program has been instrumental in fostering institutional collaboration and innovation in Rwanda. The program has been successful in advancing research in areas such as information and communications technology, public health, and agriculture.

Chalmers University of Technology and the University of Gothenburg are proud to have played a vital role in the success of the research cooperation program. Both universities have provided expertise and resources to support the program's initiatives.
